Hi Sunni, enjoying your thread so far, and am stumped to figure out where my previous comment went because I could have sworn I'd commented already. Anyway...
Your opener was a great shot in my opinion. I like well taken high key images, and this was done so much better than your average Venture shot.
The contrasting darkness of the Dark Tower shows that you have the range to shoot different subjects equally well without falling into a "rut" of similar processing styles. Both week 1 & 2 were markedly different for me.
Chopped doesn't really work for me, but I think that's more down to me. You've clearly made the effort to take the shot considering lighting and backgrounds - two of the things I'm first to forget about, so I appreciate the effort gone into it. Maybe a bit of contrast, or B&W to hightlight the texture of the pineapple shell might work. That under-chair lighting is very effective, but (i feel) overpowered by the brightly illuminated fruit.
