I had photo passes for Big Country (Back in the day). My wife was sat backstage and Stuart Adamson asked if she knew where the onstage towels were...she was too star struck to reply.

Remember buying the Crossing on Vinyl when it came out, still got it somewhere
Preferred them to U2, they were newcomers at around the same time

Reckon they suffered a bit from their first album being hard to live up to, don't think they ever matched it.

Local band to me, worked with one of the band members dad many moons ago, doesn’t seem that many years that I heard about Stuart’s demise.
