Earlier this year in July my Sun Sniper Steel Strap which i bought from
DIGITAL2U malfuntioned resulting in my MR14EXRINGLITE ring flash crashing to the ground causing serious damage to it, my camera 7d and 100mm macro came out unscathed.
Digital2u eventually accepted responsibility for the faulty strap 'freak batch'? and offered my money back, then after badgering them they have agreed to pay the repair cost of the flash.
It took them a while to move on this but in the end they complied (yesterday).
Other owners of this strap need to remember to check the fastening attachment before using.
I got my cash back declining their offer of a new strap.
Can anyone recommend a good reliable stap, my confidence has been knocked from using the Sun Sniper range. :thumbsdown:
