Suicide bombing in Nigeria

There have been two suicide bombings in Yemen this year killing over 70.
They happen often.
We only shout when it's too close for comfort.
 
Read the link in it about the other attacks, I mentioned it in the Paris thread, Boko Harem have gone absolutely banzai in Nigeria in recent weeks, some estimates at over 2000 killed and towns all but wiped out. The irony is that @Yves Geza was listening to a radio phone in this morning where an African lady called in and was making the point that Islam practiced in Africa is far more peaceful than Middle Eastern - not when Boko Harem are involved it would seem. It is very hard to separate religion from a lust for power and land when the aim is to create a state ruled by their warped interpretation of the religious texts.
 
Boko Harem are to Islam what the LRA are to christianity... its an excuse for rape pillage and mayhem, take away the religion and they'd find another excuse.

It was Boko Harem who abducted the 200 schoolgirls last year. It is exactly the same branch of Islam which is practiced by ISIL, the Taliban, Al Qaeda and other imbeciles.

Indeed, have you seen their 'official' name? There would be a LOT of news presenters struggling with it...

yeah apparent boko haram actually means "western education is forbidden" - catchy

I'd hope these f***wits die of ebola - except that theyd probably set out to deliberately spread it first

That is spot on. Much of the attribution to religion is mis-placed, the aggression in the name of Islam is just people wanting more power.
