Suffragettes

But, like so many things, it is all a matter of context. Someone said on another thread "one mans terrorist is another's freedom fighter."

If we had been around at the time of the suffragette movement I wonder how many on here would have supported them?

I personally think JSO is just the latest bandwagon some people have jumped on and has no real merit. But would I have felt the same of the suffragettes if I had been a man in that period of our history?

That was clear in the opening post. I assume you are not expecting everyone who comments to feel the same.

Why wouldn’t you admire the suffragettes?
