Sudden increase in price: Nikon Z50 and lenses

I've been saving my pennies up for a Z50 plus the 2 kit lenses as a pressie for her indoors. Couple of things to sell to help achieve the cost. Local camera shop were selling this lot for £999, but awaiting stock. Now back at £1,199 and still awaiting stock. Checked another company and they've gone back to the pre-sale price as well. Wonder why the increase?

Prices bounce around. Been watching D500 prices bounce like Tigger for years at E-infinity.

Down to £845 now which is the best I ever seen a D500 go for EVER.

Maybe I will get one when 799.99
