I've bought some frames (admittedly not very expensive) and the styrene glass replacement that they have come with isn't that great. You can see "ripples" quite easily which is a bit distracting. Is this something I should expect from all styrene or is it just the cheap stuff I've got :D

I've found other places that supply styrene\acrylic but before ordering I wanted to make sure that this isn't something inherent in the properties of styrene (I expect not as it is supposed to be indistinguishable from glass!). I've only ever used glass glazing before. Or does anyone know of a supplier I should be looking at? Cheers :)

Lion Framing have many different types of glazing, they also have a nice catalogue they will post out to you too.

Did you take the protective film off......?

Yes :D I did think initially that taking off the protective film quickly is what has caused the ripples, but even taking it off very carefully makes no difference.

In the end I had to deliver the frames earlier than expected so I was unable to replace the styrene. I do have more of the same frames though, so I'll look into the suggestions above. Thanks all :)
