On me way home from Oulton Park I saw a E-Type jag parked up in a car park. I stopped to take a picture of it. I got my phone out of my pocket, lined up the shot (it was obvous what I was doing) then just as I go to press the shutter some stupid ****ing cow ina big fat Audi went and parked between me and the car. She tehn got her lardy body out of the car and gave me a snotty look. Stuck up stupid friggin' bitch.

THe reason I am so angry. THERE WAS A CAR PARK SPACE BEHIND WHERE AHE PARKED AND SHE COULD SEE WHAT I WAS DOING AND SHE GAVE ME THE EVILS!!!!!!!

It wouldnt have been hard to wait 30 secs for me to take the shot or turn the steering wheel right instead of left but becuase the fat retard is scared of excerise she had to park nearest to the door.

I know it sounds like I am getting grr over nohting but I hate people who have no manners etc.

The further away from the doors you are the more poisonous the spaces get.

Some woman saw the Google car about to drive past, desperate to be seen she parks her car up and climbs out to find someone standing in the way pointing a camera phone at her. Some people show no consideration to others:lol:

Always carry a bucket and some water with you

Feel the bucket up with dirt/soil

Feel the bucket up with water

Get a stick and mix it up

Chuck it over the ladies car

Simples

I think you probably mean 'fill' the bucket.................

(oh and while we're at it, simple doesn't have 's' on the end).

Sorry 'bout that but I've just been reading the thread about grammar and spelling mistakes.

Feel the bucket up? You can get into trouble for that kind of activity.

Damn, that must have really buggered you to bits .. your post oozes with anger!

And I truly sympathise with you as I've had it happen to me many times. Some people have such an attitude that they like to spoil things for others.

Sorry, I didn't get this

Ahhhhh but, letting the tyres down you can't be done for criminal damage..

They cant charge you for moving air around .... ;)

Oh, you're right on the first sentence; but on the 2nd one .. my Dr. charges me a lot for all the air that moves in me :p (just don't ask for any more clarifications).

 Not anger mate, just saying everyone has their own styles of speaking on the internet. My is different to most people on here. Why pull me up on it?

Is that true? hmmm mum and dad have gone out and mum's car is left on the drive..................hmmmmmmmmmm :D Nah im not like that :D

I'm going to play devil's advocate here Matt and put forward the point that maybe she didn't see you prior to parking her car, if she was looking for somewhere to park it is highly unlikely that she would pay attention to some spotty youth hanging around the car park fiddling with his phone. :D

And maybe, just maybe, she was giving you the 'evils' because she thought you were taking her picture.

;)

Matt why didn't you ask her if you could take her picture? or just shout out "CHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESE" and take a photo of her? :D

Whilst we're on the subject!...
In the absence of calibration software, the best I can suggest is to select a photograph which you know is exposed about right (from the histogram) and manual adjust the monitor settings until the shot looks about right. No subsititue for proper calibration though of course.
I think you probably mean 'manually' adjust.
(oh and while we're at it, substitute has one 'i' and 3 't's)

I would have been difficult to miss me!!! I had a bright red sodding jumper on!!! And she nearly hit me bike. ****** (not you, audi driver)

matt you might think it was obvious what you were doing with your phone but to anyone around you you might have just been someone in the carpark playing with your phone.

surely if you let the air out of her tyres and then she drove down the road and threw her car into the scenery you'd be guilty of something? (especially if you happened to be caught on CCTV doing it!?

Dude.

Take a deep breath and count to ten.

Now breathe out and repeat after me....

"I will not get vexed by everyday life, I will not get vexed by everyday life"

Its a wonder you havent had stroke yet!

you have to accept that not everyone is as aware of the needs of photographers as we would like
sorry Matt
can't support you this time

Why?, she is responsible for the roadworthyness of her car...

Happened where i used to work, someone kept letting the tyres down on one of
the lads cars. Turned out to be an upset ex-girlfriend but the police couldn't do
a thing as there was no actual damage caused, just inconvenience...

i guess your right (in that shes responsible for the condition of her tyres), however i cant see why the police cant do anything after all someone is tampering with your vehicle regardless of whether any damage has been caused (on that basis it would be ok for someone to come along and disconnect a brake hose....as long as they dont damage the hose), i know thats probably not the best example but heyho

i just dont advocate doing anything to her car for parking in a carparking space, i cant actually see what shes done wrong (apart from get in the way of matt.....)

If I saw a teenager on a mountain bike in a carpark, I'd assume they were there nicking car stereos.....

Lets get a grip here

It's a car, you wanted a photo.....it's a repeatable event, do your blood pressure a favour and get over it.

TBH, if i'd have seen you hanging around by a classic car, i'd have parked ON you.

;)

I can't believe you got so worked up about a picture of a car shot on a phone, was a magazine waiting for the upload

Should'a let her tyres down ....

This is a criminal offence, I remember reading about this on another forum, which has a lot of BiB posting.
Something about the definition of criminal damage …
I,ll post a link when I,ve more time

I'm often tempted to get a container of brake fluid and keep it under the car seat for just such an occasion. After all, carrying brake fluid is hardly suspicious.

But thankfully it's never gone further than a thought! :D

I'm sure you could have got a better shot than of an E-Type in a car park Matt ;)

I'm with you Matt Sayle !

tbh, even if she hadnt blocked my view, I would still despise her and call her a stuck up cow, purely because she drives an Audi !
