Well maybe more like stupid computer user......:rolleyes:

Just bought a new one, very nice, spent a while setting up photoshop etc. then decided to start on the scanner...wouldn't work, ah ha need the drivers, download them and voila the computer finds the scanner. (y) Push button, no epson software...(n) Turn house upside down, no disc, no box, nuffink :help:
Anyone got the disc I can borrow please. :ty:

Have you tried the epson website? They usually have all their drivers available.
 
I've got the drivers Suz its the disc to load the scanning software that I've stupidly lost.
 
Can't you get it from the Epson support site?
 
Perhaps this is a good time to invest in Vuescan ?
 
Drivers site has all the other software as well I think.
 
Assuming your scanner is the MP510 in your profile, link to MP Navigator (Windows) which:

"This application software allows you to scan, save and print photos and documents. You can also edit images, or attach images to e-mail using this application software."

** edit - just saw you said Epson in the first post so i guess the Canon isn't your scanner **

What scanner is it Andy? V500?

I should have the disk somewhere. I could copy it and send on to you.
 
It's years since I last used a software disk supplied with a product as there is almost certainly a more up to date version online from the manufactuer's website, although epson scan is nothing to write home about!
 
I should still have my copy knocking around somewhere if you need it.
 
OK, I've downloaded from the link but still no joy, am I doing something wrong? Do I need to do anything other than download the link and then install from my download files? Does anyone know less about computers than me? :)
 
Sorted....:banana: Dozy me didn't look at the desktop where the scanning button now lives. Hsappy days.
