I swear this is true... Yesterday I phoned my boss and told him about a situation with a certain individual at work and the conversation went something like this:

Me.. I have a hand written letter that you need to see

boss.. What's it about?

Me... (detailed explanation)

boss... OK email it to me and I'll look at it

Me.. It's hand written

boss.. So

Me... We don't have a scanner!

boss... A what?

Me.. I can't get it on to the computer to email, it's hand written, I'll fax it down to you.

boss..... OK fax it to me

Me.. It's very confidential, please stand by the fax and I'll send it straight away.

boss.. just mark it confidential for my attention and I'll call you back when I get it.

(voice start to raise in frustration)

Me.. IT'S CONFIDENTIAL

boss.. WELL PUT IT IN A BLOODY ENVELOPE FOR MY ATTENTION, FAX IT DOWN AND I'LL LOOK AT IT !
