Reminds me of the guy who told me he'd made a free mod to his MK2 Escort that he reckoned would make it go faster.

He'd bent the accelerator pedal so that he could press it further into the carpet, which he had worked out would add quite a bit to his acceleation and top speed.

All he succeeded in doing was snapping the throttle cable...:lol:
