studio lights

Ok, so you have bought a set studio lights, triggers, softbox, umbrella, white background, etc. What next?

How do setup the lights to get specific results? Obviously trial and error will work (eventually)...

Does someone have more info, details, links, guides, anything?

Light positions, model positions, camera settings, etc. Way too many combos to trial and error it all.
