Hi I have a product photography job, photographing tinned pet food at home but don't have any studio lights, what ones would you reccommend without spending too much money? Its my first product photography job. Any advice, much appreciated, thanks :)

You can get away with using any light source as long as you correct the white balance.
You could use a couple of these in a suitable lamp holder and get excellent results.

This is typical of the info that suppliers give out on websites - in the so-called 'technical info' they don't mention the Colour Rendition Index, which needs to be a minimum of 90 if you want reasonably accurate colour rendition. If the CRI is too low then the colours will be reproduced inacurately, for example reds will look orange. So, before ordering, you should either ask them what the CRI is or order from someone else.

Not that I'm convinced that this sort of lighting arrangement will do justice to your tinned petfood anyway - it's a pretty boring subject and you'll need proper studio flash, with the right modifiers and some understanding of light to make them jump off the page, which they will need to do.
