Studio Lighting

Bang for buck i would say yes, Lencarta have a good reputation for lighting equipment when compared to the big boys ie Elinchrom, Bowens, i have an elite pro 300 set which are very good, i'm also planning to get a set of the ones you linked to this week, providing they have stock, as i know they have been low lately, the ones you linked to also have an added advantage of having cooling fans built in, which others i've seen in that price range don't have, also if you compare the price of the light shaping tools from Lencarta as opposed to Bowens their is quite a substantial difference :)

Having looked at this at Focus on Imaging, it most certainly is good value and quality. Solidly made it will be an excellent starting point. I didn't buy this as i don't have studio space, so I have opted to go for the Safari portable two head kit in the future, this means I can go anywhere with lots of flash power..

If you search flickr for 'Lencarta' you will see some stunning pics, look for the hamster with the Strawberry....... taken with the 200 kit...

got it today but no test subjects:(

Hopefully mine will be here today :D i have the same problem, getting people to pose for me, think i may have to start a kidnapping service

now that sounds like a plan hehe

I actually thought about getting a mannequin from a clothes/charity shop, then i thought what would the neighbours think when they seen me dragging it out of the car , mmm maybe not.
