studio flash

Hi all i am after some advice about studio flash, Right I have 2 small slave flashes here
i want to add some umbrellas to them and the question is what umbrellas do i want and how do i use them
they are fired from my cameras flash i will put a peace of card in front so it don't show in the photos i think that all​
