Studio flash setup

Hi guys

this is my first post.

I am looking for some advice on the most suitable kit for studio lighting. Mainly for intermittent professional portrait work, so it will need to be portable but not should not require it own battery/power pack.

i only really want to spend £300-£500 as it reaaly will be intermittent

Any ideas on a suitable hit?
