Hey all,

Can anyone send me a link / put me in the direction of a company that specialises in building photo studios?

I dont want to go down the DIY route :cuckoo:, want to get a pro in to listen to my requirements then they design / implement for me.

When you say build, do you mean construct a building and then fill it with photo gear?

If so, I've never heard of a one stop shop that goes that far. Calumet or The Flash Centre would both have people that will listen to what you want to achieve and recommend the best kit solutions for your needs.

Hell, for the right price, I'll spec it for you. :D
 
I need a quote - I have a building in mind that is practically fit for purpose (though comes at a price!). However, to convince the bank it is worth doing, I need to have a business plan etc. Nothing I havent done before for the business, however i'm wanting someone to come in and tell me exactly what I need gear wise as opposed to me learning the hard way (that is buying stuff I *think* I need, it not being fit for purpose then me being out of pocket after I've bought what I *actually* need) !!

Like you say, Calumet maybe the way to go...
 
Calumet were great when I was doing the same sort of thing. Came out to see me, gave me demo of some digi backs and went through all the studio requirements before putting a proposal together for all the kit I needed.

Was there a fee for the advice? Or was it part of the service if you purchased from them?
 
No fee, just the chance of a big order for them. Well probably not really big by their standards but I did spend over £20k.
