What's everyone else upto???

I've got 5 hours left of todays shift, working 11-5 tomorrow and then two weeks off :D :D :D

Today is dragging soo slowly :(
 
Waiting for a Pm, bought a camera and waiting to go and pick it up :D
 
Bah.. I have the camera in the office lol but nothing to play with lol, my forecourt is pretty bare at the mo and the micra isn't the most exciting car to shoot!

Think it will have to be a pub finish tonight lol...
 
Working - but at home, last minute system testing before the release on Monday - Not happy woith the shiny screen on the MacBook I'm indoors instead of sat in the sun. Might try taping a couple of circular polarisers to my eyes !!
 
Haven't done a Saturday in a long time, it would be ovetime only and I used to do 4am till 12.

I used to love tinkering with cars on a Saturday before hitting the motor trade...

It was well before I started in the motor trade but my last inkering something went a little wrong, pics below!

Well i am kinda working, on standby but not required at this moment in time, so decided to was the car. Maybe a tad carried away?

Oil and filter change on the Sprint, then a 60min ride to ensure it will be OK to take to work next week, fed up taking 2 1/2 hrs to get home via the M25 (Leatherhead to Harpenden).

(seemed to be leaking water, so off with the fairing - not an easy job, overflow pipe only, so good news, I obviously shouldnt have filled the expansion tank, oops)

I'm on a mission to find some real bacon today :) Am sick of the mainly fat-hardly any meat-streaky-smoked stuff they have here. Oh, and going on a hike around North Vancouver :D
 
I've been doing lesson plans and stuff all day, nipped to tescos earlier and thats about it.

im about to cook some thai though, and ive had a ham boiling up this afternoon for sandwiches next week, yum yum in me tum!

I lived there 1965 - 1984 and still miss it all....:'(

great place to chill
ex-wife and I lived in one of those apartment blocks [above] overlooking the beach. We had a small trimaran - sailed in Howe Sound, then later I sailed a Laser in English Bay [above]
 
Wow! Yardbent, Vancouver's skyline has changed considerably since that shot. Yes, Granville Island Market is still there (went a few weeks ago), and really busy.

thanks -- more memories - that's the RVYC. A good friend of mine in the MG Car Club had a millionaire Dad who moored a Spencer there. The Mother and sister hated sailing so Bruce and I were "crew" every weekend Dad wanted to sail.. Wonderful - he paid the bills and we got to cruise all over the Gulf Islands...:D
