OK here goes - I can do a couple of these, rather than have hordes of people turn up.

I'm going to limit it to three people each time, but if the first one works OK, I'll do one each month for three months.
First up will be on the last weekend in January, in London. Other cities can be arranged for those of you living further away. Bristol may be an option as would Wolverhampton and Edinburgh.
The exact location will be revealed after I've done a proper Recce, but to keep it easy, it'll probably be Covent Garden, Chinatown and South Bank.
It'll last a whole day from 10.00hrs to about 13.30 with a break for lunch and discussion and we'll take regualr breaks to process the images.
Those who have laptops will need to bring them and a secure loaction for storing them will be arranged.

I'm up for the London one, Rob. I'm assuming it's gonna be the Saturday 28th
 
The first one will be to soon for me, but I will keep my eyes open for a later one. When are you planning to cover Munich? :whistle2:

OK that's three for Bristol - end of Feb for them.

Munich? Put my EasyJet ticket in the post and I'll be there...

Already reading through my Nikon manual to ensure I know camera inside out by the date .....don't want to look too much a tw*t ;) (well no more than normal)

28th - London.... I might be up for this - need to check diary.... but I am a beginner so would probably use it to watch and learn more than take my own pics. Would that be ok?

Ian, if you don't take Arkady up on this offer you should have your camera confiscated and crushed. Do what you have to do - but get there. ;) I don't see Rob letting you get away with being an observer!:D
 
You'll only learn by trying. I used to teach basic surveillance, Infra-red and aerial photography to complete novices who had less than no interest in photography in under 4 days.

Don't worry - there are no stupid questions, only stupid instructors.

OK that's four, so I'm closing the book on January.
You guys will be getting PMs as soon as I finalise things at my end.

Mini - just PM me and we'll meet for coffee in town and bash a few ideas round the table (bring the bloke as a chaperone if you like) - 1st Latte's on me. I'm off work til the 9th ( :shock: :clap: - God I love the Army...)

Looking forward to feedback from the Barrow Boys at end of Jan....plus a jump in Photo quality ;)
