Yes
I've a good friend who has ordered some vestments [ yes he's a minor cleric ] made for him from a firm in Ukraine.

At last they are on their way and look to be arriving in the UK in the next few days.

Does anyone know if they are likely to be put in quarantine ?

As far as I know, Covid particles die after about 72 hours without being able to get to a host, so I wouldn't imagine so. I've had stuff sent through from Europe during the pandemic and no quarantine has been put in place.

If you are asking about the courier and/or customs, I would think extremely unlikely. However, if by personal choice your friend wishes to take a precaution....just put the unopened box to one side for 72 hours!

Thanks all - this is what we had also thought , but were wondering if anyone had had any experience of this .

He's used to getting books from Ukraine etc but hasn't made any orders for a while .

Not unless there is a Ukrainian wearing them.
All jokes aside I recently purchased a Nixie Tube clock from the Ukraine and that arrived unhindered.

I can recommend this seller Nixie Clock
Arrived six days after ordering very well packed in a wooden box.
Birthday present for my wife and she loves it, even came preset for UK time.

I had to look up Nixie Tube clocks......a real blast from the past. I had seen them in devices more years ago than I care to recall but had no idea that was their name :)

I first saw them in a special exhibit at a museum in Ghent.
Still got lots of NOS tubes in what was the Soviet Union.
Just something different and nice to see on display in the front room.
Keeps good time too which is a bonus, haa a proximity sensor to save wear on the tubes.
