strange partial computer crash just now

Very odd, I had just put into my card reader a SD card to check on a project when I had a partial crash. By the I mean several icons such as Chrome -printer etc and a couple of editing suites dissappeared, yet the Adobe suites remained as did a few others. No blue screen than goodness and only took a short time to reinstal the missing ones.
Looks fore system restore points none found so made a new one. this was on a home x64 built computer with windows 11 updated on it

So disappeared as in uninstalled? sounds like there might be something nasty on the flash card.

No not actually uninstalled just gone. I did try reinstalling one program and it came up with it already on the computer. Use that to kickstart that particular program. that worked so did the same with the rest. now formatted the cards just to clear and crap on it and did a virus check as well
