Strange New World

and there I was thinking you wallet would be taking less of a hamering now you own 99% of the camera equipment in the world, glad to see I was wrong as at least now when the misses picks on me for spending too much I can still point out this one guy online who spends even more!

:D

I still wan't the 30" screen, IF they can bring it in line with the 24" quality :) I will drop you a PM if it is announced at MacWorld :naughty:

Gary.

I would have thought the 30" would have been better quality as it is the more expensive and pro model screen.

It's horrible - dull and flat in comparison to the little brother. I went with every intention of buying it, but it really did not impress me. Strange as the reviews all rave about it.

Gary.

Where did you get the table?
I hope I can afford the answer!

Gutted, I'd have paid that.
I want that macbook and screen setup I suggested to you. If I do then I need to move the iMac from the kitchen and your table looks perfect.

LOL tempted to stick it :p

Congrats on the purchase. You've made a very wise choice.

You do realise now that you own pretty much every single toy that any self respecting photographer & geek want to own.

Git. :D

Argh I want a Mac :( I go into the Apple Store whenever I'm in Brum or Leicester. Me and my friends like to call it "self torture"

No need - Macs come with a screen cloth!

Gary,

What resolution have you got your screen set up at ? I'm finding that some menus etc are a bit small at full resolution (1920 x 1600)

Steve

He doesn't have a MacBook Pro afaik. Still isn't there yet. I say we get him to buy the 17'' model that just came out. Ya know, just cos we can :D Its so purdy.

Nah, the new MacBook Wheel in the video is what Gary wants;)

Actually I'm surprised Apple haven't done anything with touch screen yet. 17" MacBook with a semi-transparent keyboard overlay.

Jenkins, stop touching yourself!
