One of the guys in the office has just dunked a cold sausage roll into his coffee :cuckoo: which I think is really strange.

So what do you eat or someone you know eat that is well weird.. and I dont mean marmite :D

:D

Mmmmmm I love cold mashed potato sandwiches.

Cheese and jam sarnie!

Rich Tea biscuits with proper butter on them

Upon the recommendations from here last week, I tried some cheese and jam on toast the other day...oh yum was it nice.

I used to butter digestives in my earlier years so I could easily go for some Rich Tea with proper butter on them.

Marmite, I think I have proved the advert wrong. They say "You either love it or hate it", I don't.
I use it in gravies etc, yet when I tried some very thinly spread on toast last week, I was indifferent. Wasn't really tasty, but it wasn't "spit this evil out instantly" bad. It was "Hmmmm, a bit face screwy, but not too bad".

I have been known to eat various varities of dog food/biscuits for experimental purposes/laughs.

I'm partial to a bonio.

Peanut butter and marmite sandwiches are tasty. However, peanut butter, cheese (good quality cheddar, none of your processed nonsense), and marmite sandwiches....NOW you're talking!

Oh, we also had a bag of little bone-shaped dog biscuits from Netto, which I ate more of than the dog did. :D

Heheh! Reminded me of a time many moons ago when a load of us were up in Cumbria staying at a mates house and after a very late night at the pub we were all starving. Half hour later we had a chilli con carne made with tinned dog food. Very nice it was too....:gag:

I like to dunk buttered toast into tea or coffee

Some people find this strange :p

Probably not as strange as many years ago when we (as in you and me) ate the daffodils on the restaurant table as we had waited far too long for the food to be served.....

Bleurgh! spit, gag!

Used to eat Mars bars dipped in coffee but, that was a pregnancy thing ... whats your excuse!

Now normal peeps would go for something like a nice cold curry mopped up with brown bread...mmmmm!!!!

Chily and Banana Pizza (on a tomato base). A personal recomendation from a friend.

(whats wrong with cheese and jam toasties... theyre yummy)

Oh yes! You ate the petals and I ate the trumpets - a perfect partnership - no waste!

Well I have put a bit of weight on lately...

salad cream and banana sandwiches!

Hmmm...interesting combination. From experience and IMO of course banana and ketchup doesn't work....even after numeroush alchol-hic beveragesh.

Edit:Though it did get me a couple of free drinks :-)

Mars bar in coffee, thats nice, as for the rest not convinced.

Toast with tomato sauce

When I was in Australia last year they sold battered Milky Way & Mars bars in the chip shops.

Nothing odd there, a place in glasgow makes it the signature dish, along with fried pizza (really nice).

MY fav was always eating raw potatoes, whilst making chips but have to say Carnations taste nicer than Daffs :D (Yer I had to wait far too long)

I used to go bleurgh at the thought of deep fried mars bar, until my neice told me of a local chippy that did it for you (you had to take your own mars bar in, and pay 50p to have it done).

They basically do it in the sweet batter that they do pineapple / banana fritters in, and its in a tray, with some syrup drizzled over.
The mars bar itself isnt hot, more...."melted a bit", so its quite gooey.

Half a mars bar becomes quite sickly...but boy does it taste nice. Unfortunately, you need ear plugs to drown out the noise of your arteries hardening...lol

toasted cheese sandwich dipped in tomato soup. Now that is an American staple but when I mention it over here people look at me with 2 heads so I'm guessing it isn't common.

Just had Marmite on Toast for breakfast....

Sometimes I have Cheese & Marmalade that is delicious too...:D

"this week I have been mostly eating..."

remember the fast show?
