It's uncommon to have a named storm at this time of the year. Not unknown but not the norm. It's out to the NW and deepening rapidly. The forecasters are suggesting wind gusts of 70-80 even 90mph on the north west coast of Scotland. The region to be hit hard is Newcastle,north. North Wales and NI will be hit by it,too . We'll get away with a bit of wind and a period of rain down here.
I think it will reach the NW coast of NI about 6.00am tomorrow morning (Monday) with a yellow warning. About the same time for NW England , also a yellow warning. About 10.0am for NW Scotland which has an amber warning.
