Store Price Promise

Just a heads up in case someone isn't aware. If you have purchased Christmas presents early and the price has dropped within X days some stores
will refund the difference.

I purchased a Kindle Paperwhite from Tesco for my daughter a couple of weeks ago for £109 and the price dropped to £79. Had a refund of £30 without any
bother at all. Tesco have a 28 day price promise policy.

Thats good to know, I always worry the price will drop on an expensive item I am about to buy. Always wondering, has a particular item dropped as low as it is likely to. [emoji4]

If John Lewis claim to never be knowingly undersold, why do they make a song and dance about price matching? (And shrug when they're told that a place just up the road is selling the same thing a LOT cheaper?)

Bugs me that too - particularly if you have to virtually grovel to get a price match!
