Hello,

About time I stopped lurking around here and got my feet wet, I think.

I'm completely new to photography. Just bought a 450D with the kit lens and I've got my first few wedding shoots lined up...

...just kidding :) I'm a beginner and I know it - I've a long way to go and a lot to learn, and doing any photography for money isn't on my mind. I'm not sure it ever will be, really.

I'm here thanks to a friend of mine who is a photographer, and is now responsible for a bruised bank balance :gag:

Sounds as if you might be over-qualified to start wedding togging - have you considered breaking the af on your lens? :lol: :nuts:
