Today I had to attend outpatients for a scan.......upon leaving the scan room I was meet with a harrowing scene......a young man being attended by medical staff and tubes running everywhere and a tribe of distraught family going in for a scan...made me think.....time I stopped the f@@king whinging.....true

I have had health issues since I was 10, 36 now, and heres my take on it. Someone may have a health issue that isn't as bad as mine. But if I say to them it could be worse, you could have what I've got how is that going to make them feel better? Someone may have worse problems than me and say the same to me, but that doesn't make me feel better. What I'm trying to say is that there are always people worse off than you, but that doesn't make your problems any less to YOU.

There are those that are far worse off, yet serve as an inspiration to all by overcoming adversity. Those are the role models we should all aspire to be, especially when life deals you a crap hand. Of course, a quick whinge does make you feel better!
