That really sucks Gary - sorry to hear it! They're unlikely to appear down hear but i'll let you know.

Oh Gary, I'm so sorry to hear this! I had all my gear stolen last month (Camera bag with me at the time.......long story), so I can imagine how you feel. Hope your insurance covers this. Mine fortunately did. Have a hug!

I remember reading about your problems, The exess on the insurance is probably more than the value of what was stolen to be honest but it's the inconvenience more than anything plus the £60.00 glass exess.
Thanks for the hug:)

Sorry to hear about it dude, will let my mates in sheffield know.

Bloody hell Gary, The trouble with todays digital camera accessories are that they are in such high value now that the scum have a market to sell them on..:(

Sorry to hear your bad news mate..:(

Let this be another reminder to us all, Leave nothing in your car at night alone.:|

Scumbags strike again ... :annoyed:

Sorry to hear of your troubles Gary ... :( ... bad news and inconvenience ...

Hope you get yourself sorted soon enough m8 ... ;)

:p

Tough one gary - sorry to hear about it and I hyope you get sorted soon.

Sorry to hear this Gary.

Any brand names we should be looking out for?

Sorry to hear about that, as above any makes/models so can look out on ebay or local rags etc...??

Cheers all, only a cheap velbon tripod which still has fingerprint dust on it from last time it was stolen, black bag with portaflash written on it, Oh and just realised driving license gone and a radio scanner.
What a dumb ass I am... It is sooooooo easy to become complacent about such things, it is only when you add up the cost of the items individually that you realise how much it all comes too.
However it gives me an excuse to go aout and spend £200.00+ on a new "GOOD" tripod which will not be left in the car, ya see every cloud has a silver lining, you just have to look for it sometimes.

Iv just got in, but on my way back down to the car, left my tripod in there but after reading this i thinks i'll bring it in doors,
sorry to hear that gary.

I'd invest some cash on a car alarm. You sometimes can't help leaving stuff in the car as it's inconvenient to take it with you every time you get out. Lock it in the boot out of sight.

car alarmed and immobilised, tinted glass so you cant see in it at night and everything of any value out of sight. I think they must have just thought, "oh thats a nice car lets smash the window and see if there is anything of value."
