Please take some time to read this:

A young Lurcher pup is missing in the West Country on the Dorset/Somerset borders. Bradie is owned by a 5-yr old Downs Syndrome boy who cannot understand why his puppy will not be home at Christmas.

If you live, or know anyone who lives in Dorset, Somerset, Wiltshire or surrounding counties, would you kindly print out (or ask your friends to) this poster and put it in some shop windows?

Let's do all we can to find this lost dog - it would mean so much to the family to have her back for Christmas!

How sad, and what utter scum. I really have trouble understanding the thought processes of people these days. Hoping that someone returns the pup.

when i was working in hampshire over the summer there were a number of reports of high quality dogs being stolen, bitches only, dogs being abondoned, presumably all atolen to order. best of luck with the search, but being realistic i'd suggest the pub is long gone, hope not though!

Why don't they send details to national newspapers they will probably plaster it all over the newspaper (they have done so in the past) and hopefully get the scum who nicked it.

I think this would be a great idea. This is the third post I've read on here today that has left me wondering what type of scum live in this country!

Words fail me!!! I hope the dog is found and returned very soon.

Not wanting to put a bummer on this thread but two things you need to know about lurchers:

1) They like to wander off

2) "travellers" like to collect them

I don't suppose either of those two things are influenced by the nature of the owner of the said dog....

What a smashing Christmas it would be if the wee man got his puppy back.
Heres hoping.

My Mother-in-Laws neighbour lost her Lurcher recently. She's not sure if it was stolen or injured or worse.
She advertised it on a Website specifically for Lost/Stolen dogs. I can't remember the name of the site off hand but she had the whole of Herts looking out for her by the sounds of it. Complete strangers even arranged a get together to search along the River Lea and surrounding areas.
