Can anyone help I am having a very frustrating time trying to get images past Alamy's QC. I mainly shoot with my 60D so I know the raw file size is more than enough to meet that part of their requirements. I work from raw to Tif in 16 bit then then resize the longest side to around 5000pix this makes a file size of around 100mb. I then convert the file to 8bit which brings the file size down by half, then save as jpeg which makes the file size around 10 - 6 mb. The question is does this process sound about right or am I completely doing things wrong.

I follow the other rules such as do not over sharpen etc.

Thanks for any advice.

You're over processing it for a start. Take the raw -> jpg. Don't bother resizing. I get jpgs out of a camera through Alamy QC with nothing done to them. The more you mess with them the more it will cause problems as you only want one sharpening stage and they prefer to do it themselves.
