Stock photo use.... Unfortunate!

EDIT: Image has been mirrored, oddly. Completely different and makes me wonder why, with so much digital manipulation, the Tories didn't just pick a different photo.

Their graphic designer picked the photo, and he's probably not an active con. too. Flipping was maybe required to make the text fit better.

I've noticed image mirroring/flipping often in advertising and press images.

Clearly obvious it is not a British road - no potholes !

They had to flip it so the road looked like people drove on the right (as in left...) side of it!

while honesty is probably too much to hope for from most politicians they could have at least not bothered to lie on this occasion. There isn't any reason for doing so

So, it's had the horizon modified, white lines removed, surface smoothed, rise in road added, clouds / sky modified, colours changed & the whole lot flipped.....

There's a lot more "British" editing than the original "German" photo :D

They just can't help it.

Agreed, don't know why they didn't get an amateur tog from the office to do the whole thing :)

Move along please; nothing to see here. It's a photograph of a road…end of.

What gets me is the levels of changes they've made to photo, by Christ what was the point of picking the photo they did when clearly it was so far off what they actually wanted

Edit: having driven down the road where Jim lives several times to visit his local church I think they should have used a photo of his road...what do you think @Farmerjim :D

Ha ha:) Don't know Mat, can't see my track featuring in anything that pertained to "The road ahead" :)

okay it's got a few hundred road wide pot holes  but look how much has been changed in this photo they used...smoothing out your track would be no problem....though I did once break my suspension on your track lol

Think we've got back round to the original question, why bother PP'ing something in 1st place? Suppose it's all "work for the boys" :)
