Stills Edinburgh

Has anyone taken any of the courses at Stills Gallery in Edinburgh? They have one next year called "Black and White photography" that includes some darkroom time. IIRC after the first session they give you a film and send you off to take some pics for week 2, then you process it and later enlarge. Not cheap, which is why I'm asking!

Sorry Chris can't comment on that course, but have you considered a College course. I'm currently doing a city and guilds in photography as an evening class at my local college. One night a week for 3 hours. with access to their darkroom and studio. It maybe wouldnt be as bespoke as the one you are looking at but maybe something to consider.

I hadn't thought of a C&G course... I did make a cursory search of proper courses, but it seemed either fine art or oriented to commercial photography. But worth another look, thanks.

I looked at those courses too, but they are pretty spendy. I've been meaning to go along and use the darkroom facilities there I just never find the time at the moment.
