We get a lot of new people who ask the same questions.
I'm happy to help out where I can but a sticky would be a much easier option that trying to keep answer the same questions.
We seem to get a lot of new people who sometimes don't know that Hong Kong suppliers can sometimes be cheaper for things like filters.

Any mods have an opinion on this?
 
I really think we need a sticky for filters - the amount of times UV filter questions come up is like Groundhog Day.

It's the groundhog day feeling about CPL and Hoya filters that got me thinking about this.
 
Don`t forget about the "odd" tripod question that gets asked...;)
 
I'm sure this isn't directed at me:naughty:

If you do a search on any given subject, if your too specific, it comes back with no results or if your vague(i.e Filter) it comes back with several dozen which you can't be bothered trawling through, and some of which doesn't answer your question.

Or of those old posts you have found you think to yourself, well that was everyones opinion back then, i wonder if opinions have changed or does anyone have anything to add.

I suppose you could tag a question on to an old thread but then you'd get "Holy thread revival"

And i'm not new i've been here almost a year, i'm just shy and retiring!!:razz:
