Is this going to be the first instance of negative feedback left by the person on the receiving end...?

OK, I recently sold my 24-104 to Rivit, who came across as a lovely person, so much so that I posted the lens off to her before she had sent the cheque.
A few days passed, then a few more - finally Rivit was just about to transfer some money direct when she checked the address with me.
Yup, I had given out the wrong address, so no wonder her cheque hadn't arrived. She has now transfered the money direct into my account - wonder if I gave her the right account number...?
I need to add that at no time did I worry that I wasn't going to be paid, and that she has been wonderful about it all.
I deserve negative feedback for this, as I am clearly a pain.
Rivit - many thanks, and sorry for being such a plo*ker.
Anyone doing deals with me - lookout !!!

Actually, it's my Mums address, and I was using her computer, which has a very wierd keyboard with lots of different symbols and things in the wrong place - my typing means I look at the keyboard, plus the letters are very close together, so I mis-typed 67 instead of 7.. The fact that I may well have had a small glass of the red stuff is neither here nor there.

Yeah, it's still a pretty pants excuse though..

Don't beat yourself up over it, its an easy mistake (when your a bloke :lol:)

You def don't deserve negative feed back!! Steve's been a great seller! As my cards and account had all be stopped due to some fraudulant transactions (which i finally got a refund for yesterday! yay) steve allowed me to send him a cheque. Most people would have insisted on it clearing before sending the lens but steve actually sent the lens before the cheque had even arrived. The world needs more people like this!
I do feel a little bad for doubting my mum though who very kindly loaned my the money until i got a refund from the bank. When the cheque didn't arrive i did begin to doubt that she'd sent it. Sorry mum!

I'd def recommend buying from Steve though, there's been great communication and i've always been aware whats been going on throughout! In fact i'm prob the one who owe's an appology for boring steve with an explaination on plastering longer than my uni disertation was! i bet he wished he hadn't asked :lol:
