I went to an exhibition in Birmingham last weekend which was quite breathtaking. It featured the photo journalist work of Steve McCurry.

The focus of the exhibition involved the famous image he took of The Afghan Girl and featured a documentary which was running throughout which showed Steve's attempt to track down the girl (who he photographed in a refugee camp) 17 years later.
The story was totally compelling and the images are amazing and, in a lot of cases, quite chilling.
Sorry for the late heads-up on this: the exhibition finishes this Sunday, but its well worth a look if you have an hour to spare. (Free to get in BTW) This is the only venue that it's being held in the UK.
