I have a number of images in an exhibition due to start shortly and the frames the group have chosen now contain acrylic/perspex rather than glass which we had in the old frames. The acrylic/perspex is a b****r for attracting dust and odd bits of muck due to the static.

Can anyone please advise if there is a way we can get the images framed with a minimum amount of dust and bits being attracted?

I have yet to suffer this but AFAIK it will need this or similar to "remove" the static prior to framing up

PS what frames are you using? Plus it would great to hear about the exhibition....indeed see a few pictures of the 'setup' of your display :)

Thanks for the help, really appreciated. The frames chosen some time ago were the Ribba 20"x16" frames from Ikea, the Ribba frames originally had glass but this has now been replaced with acrylic/Perspex sheeting. Still great value though.

Clean the acrylic with an anti static spray cleaner and micro fibre cloth before mounting.

My concern with sprays would be chemical residue especially if the prints were inkjet/Giclee, that is why the brushes seem to be more logical?
