hi everyone. i recently downloaded a free version of startrails.de and noticed a few people in the forum are familiar with it. I was wondering if anyone could give a step by step instruction on how to use it. i found this http://www.startrails.de/html/software.html and it states that its possible for timelapse creations. (and it doesnt HAVE to be stars either). i uploaded a 200 shot timelapse i took the other day, and when i go to create movie, it comes up "error" and doesnt tell me where the error is. :bang:

any help or advice would be greatly appreciated!

I've not tried the software as yet... I would suggest trying it with say 5 frames first and see what that does.

Just been having a play with my images from last nights perseids, using this software. I clicked the open button, selected all the images, clicked the trails button (second from right) and it got on with it.... It's still combining the images now, but I'll post it shortly. I'm going to try the timelapse function once the trails are done.
 
I'm getting a .net error when I try the movie mode...
