Hi there,

Im Wayne and over the past 8 years or so a lot has changed for me, I went from starting out and getting on quite well I have done a wedding shoot for a friend and a few portrait shoots and was enjoying what I was learning, unfortunately nearly 3 years ago I developed a detached retina in both eyes, and sadly I lost the sight in my left eye (my shooting eye) other time I lost a lot of confidence so ended up selling up.

Now to the present time I have started looking round at what's around now technology wise and seem to be getting the interest back, I have a play with a few cameras at the weekend and it's definitely got me looking on a few online stores (sadly there aren't any local shops to me).

With all the above in my head I'm pretty hopefully that I can get back into the scene and hopefully get going again, currently I'm not sure as to what scale, whether it be just a hobby, or to try and pursue business again, I do know however I need to take my time and make sure I'm comfortable again before I get in to deep.

Hi Wayne and welcome to TP - Glad that you found us and that you are in a place where you feel good enough to take up the photography baton again. One step at a time and do what you are happy doing - Good luck.

Hello Wayne, I've not been on here long but I've been here long enough to know this is a friendly place full of knowledge and inspiration, the latter of which you have just added to in abundance. Thanks for joining in :-)
