I take my hat off to you ..... what an amazing catch up, and such an inspiration to all.

It just goes to show that it can be done. All your photos are bang on theme and well executed too (which surprises me .... are you sure you are not a professional tog calling our bluff :suspect:) :D

My favourites of your project have to be Elaborate (the colours and composition are stunning) and Living (which is quite voyeuristic in a way :naughty:).

I too also like the tiny tomato Cute shot.

You have done an amazing job catching up, especially as you started so late in the year.

The things I do for fun. I really enjoy the challenge of the 52, and keep a piece of paper with notes on in my camera bag, I also like to keep paper records of my workouts, so made an image including my paper records of fun times.
I especially like how paper gets dog eared and tatty over time.

This was hard for me as I'm not exactly a social person. So who do I talk to the most, the answer is myself. Bit of a snap really, wanted to get as honest an interpretation of a candid shot of myself as possible, slow shutter to show verbal communication.

Really wanted a snow shot when this theme was anounced, but alas no snow. Got up early yesterday and had a walk in the frost, got a few SDOF berries covered in frost.

Shot of my bedside lamp at home. Nice bit of shadow and shine imo. Also different view of something common place.

Local garden centre has big green houses around the back. Chose this shot for the shapes, colours and reflections. I did a version with the lines parallel but it looked a bit stale.

Local park, same day as the weather shot. Took a load of pictures of bird life, deleted most of them, kept a few, deleted some more (sometimes you have to be tough). I've a few others I may put up in the Bird section. Cheated slightly with use of a different lens than I decided at the begining of the 2011.
 
Finally over. Now I can start the 2012 52 challenge. Only a few weeks late though, not 41. :)
 
well done sam for finishing the 52 in record time...now! have you started the new 52? ... i'm giving everyone til the 5th week before i start looking to see progress, though Andy 'the egg' is the exception as he needs hounding :naughty:

so hope you're in there! :thumbs:
 
Good idea about waiting. I made the mistake of looking at others threads and I finding it hard to get started this year.

I really should get a start on the 2012, think I've got a nice shot for week one.

Just popping past for a quick update on your progress from 2011 and I am blown away that you actually managed to do it, especially as you joined so late on in the challenge. So hats off to you mate .... well done :clap:
