Yeah I kept looking at it, couldn’t figure out what it was and then I saw the outline of the bird- a very interesting image!
 
Thank you all, must admit, it was the first time I'd seen a black barn owl, sadly they don't survive in the wild, the parents dispatch them as think there's something wrong with them :(

Really like your circles shot Charlie and your old vs. new shot could have worked for it as well....
 
Week 45 - Snapper's Choice
How is it week 45 already?!
This one is a few months old now, it was taken from the Coronation gun salute in Hyde Park in May this year but I've been playing around with Lightroom and re-edited it this week.

Thanks Alan, I was trying to do a long exposure shot with an ND filter but didn't have a tripod (they're not allowed on carry on on Ryanair as a blunt instrument lol), so I was balancing on the metal barrier holding my breath to keep the camera steady. As you can see, I failed, so, I'm calling it abstract :ROFLMAO:
