Ha ha. I fear I may be descending the HDR hole as we speak. I did my first one at the weekend. It was *****!
 
Oh this is so true. Painfully so. Some things are in a different order (I was using 35mm film for a few years before I managed to save up for a DSLR) but I seem to be in a permanent 'Dammit, I suck' hole :D

Perhaps its the hanging off a building trying to get the perfect exposure and then slipping that does it

NO! THE OPPOSITE. I was ready to get the tape measure out, but perhaps its going to be a Lonnnnnggggg tttttiiiiimmmmeee before I die. (Well, judging by some of the work shown on here, at least till I get good. I've got a long way to go)! :nuts:
 
I've just studied the graph further, using the graph scale I'm due to die in about 3 years time based on when I started and where I am now. Thanks :(

Hopefully not to scale, as according to that I am going to die around the age of 20! :o
 
LOL - but only as I'm deeply worried about the blue line :(

I am looking to get photoshop this year and I have photographed alot of flowers and I was (no kidding) photographing a cat last week :( :eek: :shake:

Should I save the money and decide I'm useless now and give up or press on until after I've played around with photoshop for a while :(
 
Fill me in. What does lpl stand for. Is it a new technique I have to learn.:lol:

as i recall from when this chart first did the rounds a year or two ago, its /p/ and refers to another photography forum that (basically) tears everyone's work to pieces...


Personally I skipped straight from "all i shoot is bad" to "dammit i suck", but that's cos I hate HDR...:naughty:

it stands for /p/, indeed.

If you get offended by anything that doesn't get immediately deleted and the user banned on this forum...you don't want to go there.
