STACKING

There are three main areas of stacking I'm editing

Exposure Stacking (Star Trails) - done to allow you to merge possibly hundreds of exposures into a single exposure to capture star trails

Deep sky stacking - used in Astro photography to stack images shot for different wavelengths of light into a single image of say a galaxy or nebula

Focus Stacking used in macro photography where DoF is extremely narrow to artificially broaden DoF by merging many exposures taking the in focus area from each exposure to make a single image

So which one would you like more information on?

Matt
