Hello, I am very new to photography any tip would be helpful;)

Hi, so far I have bought a canon1000d,18-55mm, 24-135tamron,50mm prime and a 400mm sigma. I got carried away on e-bay and I have no Idea how to use any of it, I have had a go at some close up shots of water running from a tap and thats it.Doesany one have any tips on "macro" photography please.
