This weeks job is to put together our Itinerary for a 15 day trip to Sri Lanka this July, my current plan is to skip Yala national park and head to Wilpattu National park and Minneriya National park only, Anybody travelled to Sri Lanka this time of the year or done a similar itinerary?
 
Hi Jas.
I haven't been to Sri Lanka (sadly!) but it I would guess their tourist season is similar to India in that NP's might not be open in July. And July - So it's going to be really hot. Monsoon season maybe, I'm not so sure, perhaps in part of the country?. How are you travelling about, train? If so, and if Sri Lanka's train network is as bad/chaotic as India, you might want to book asap.
