My Mam and Dad recently bought us some square mugs :thinking:

Anyway, DH and I have been discussing this, how do you drink from a square mug?

We both drink from the corner, but SIL drinks from the long flat edge...which is no doubt a skill in itself, - if I did it, I'd be wearing my latte!

So...what do/would you do? :lol:
 
buy a normal mug

though I was drinking vodka from a bowl the other day as I ran out of mugs.......

You should buy a half moon adapter which clips on to the mug, make sure you get the EF-SM (Square Mug) fitting and the 2x converter lets you drink from both sides
 
Austin put a square steering wheel on an Allegro in the 70s, that didn't work either.

We had square glasses - I'm a corner man.
 
Put them on a shelf and use the old, chipped, stained round ones!

had this dilemma a few years back: ours were wedding presents too...lol
 
I love Mam and Dad dearly, bless trhem, but they have no idea on crockery sometimes :lol: the plates in the set are huge!! The tea plates are the same size as our normal dinner plates and the dinner plates...well they're bigger than serving platters! You could put a rack of ribs on em and still have room for a t-bone steak and half a chicken! Massive!!

Were yours the same Arkady?
