Hi

I am looking to get some grads for my 10-20mm Sigma lens (77mm) and would appreciate some feedback from anyone with experience of these combos.

I have a limited budget so was thinking of the Kood kit? any good? due to stock issues i was going to buy the std kood kit for my 17-70mm lens (72mm) and a Cokin Wide angle holder for the Sigma 10-20mm (as i will only ever use 1 grad at a time w/o the uv attached on that lens but will use more on the 17-70mm)

My main concern is will the filter holder be visable at 10mm with he cokin wide angle holder and will the cokin holder fit on the kood adapter rings.

I look forward to some helpful advice.

Pete

I used Cokin filters on my 12-24 (77m filter fitting) it wasn't a major problem, although at 12mm a little bit of Photoshop work was required if I didn't have the filter holder totally level (i.e. skewed, at an angle). I had to take any UV filter off though, as stacking the cokin holder on top of a screw-in caused problems with seeing the edge of the holder.

Try looking a Kood filters on Crookedimaging, There cheap, yeah, i know cheap isn't often the best, but if your on a limited budget, they might just do for the time being.

The cokin P wide angle filter holder does not vignette when mounted straight on the 10-20. As soon as you start to rotate the holder by quite a bit though, you might start to see it in the corners of the frame. Bare in mine though, the P series wide angle holder only fits one filter. Not ideal tbh.
