As I am not good at spotting the shot, I have set myself a project. That project is to spot as many shots as I can find in my own back garden, I have a few "keepers" as you guys call them from this afternoons search that I have not pp'd yet and I am going out in the evening sun tonight to see if I can find some more.
I will probably post them late tonight or tomorrow morning and I would appreciate your honest opinions on them, good or bad.
Back to my project now...........

I have 36 to choose from which ones to post:) , be tomorrow now. Taken me all evening to sort them out.

its good to have a certain theme to focus on I find my worst work has come from just going out randomly not knowing what to take.. I start my first film long term project soon should be fun but i'll need my camera at all times :)

Good idea, spotting shots is something I struggle with. It depends on the subject matter, but urban stuff I just can`t seem to get my head around.

I always try to do it when out driving. if I see somewhere I want to come back to i take a shot with my Navman which stores it with the gps position to make it easy.

hello
i am new to photography and find this my biggest problem......i have no idea what to photograph "all artified like". I am happy learning the macro stuff with bugs and that keeps me amused for hours. But urban and landscape and arty stuff i have no ideas.
Thanks for a great idea .... setting myself a project. Hmmmm ......now what?
Good luck with yours :)
