spotting scope connecter?

Hi All

I was hoping someone with some experience on here coupld offer me some advice. I have a canon 40d and also have loan of a ts voyager 2 spotting scope (spektiv 38-114 x 70mm)

Does any one know if there is a way off connecting them so I can take some shots? I particulatly want to shoot the moon an some costal shots possibly.

Or would I have to go out and by a specific scope

I have a pentax scope and use it with my D80 but it is very difficult to hold steady you need a very good support and firm ground and generally a still subject.
 
Thanks MB, I am planning to mount the scope and the camera on two tripods, but it's tjhe connection i can't work out how to do it.

Should give you some idea of how to do it!

THIS is the one I use, with a reducing ring, with varying success I should add! But thats my fault, not the equipment!

Be a bit wary of dealing with Scopes&Skies :|. Check Google for their feedback.
