Spotify is a new service which allows you to create playlists and stream these over the Internet. It's ad supported like a radio station, so every now and again you get a random audio advert (for stuff like a movies, home products, etc), but in return for listening to the occasional advert you get to listen to music for free.

if you do send me a PM, can you also post here that you've done so, just so others can check whether all 10 invites have been used.

I've been listening to a band called Nightwish tonight, and I don't even own their material.

Just for the record, I don't have anything to do with Spotify, I just like the idea of free music without the piracy tag that usually goes with it.

edit....just to add to that, i've been listening for 20 minutes and not had a single audio ad yet. pretty good

Well spotted, looks like they're giving out the invites more frequently now.
