Yes
Afternoon all, I'm new to this music streaming thing, never tried it before but overtime on at work and I need something to keep me going so thought I'd try it!!

One thing I've noticed is that Spotify has an offer for 3 months for 99p then £9.99 a month there after but you can cancel at any time!!

Just looking for opinions people

I use Napster. mainly because it works with my car. Got one year free for Deezer with Sonos and that seems OK and have also used Spotify. For the way I use them they are all pretty similar.

if you are a student you can get half price spotify.

I use spotify. I used to have a free account but then got a premium account included as part of my mobile phone contract. It's good for me, plenty of stuff on there, plenty of variety as well.

Spotify it's great... Debating whether to get the premium or not but free isn't so bad if you can zone out from adverts

I heard YouTube we're bringing out their own version as well, same price £10 pm but I've not heard, I had planned to have a look and see which seemed the best.

I use a free android app called Audials, I'm sure theres a version for iphone/ipad as well. it has radio stations all over the globe, genres of all kinds to suit all tastes. My particular favourite music is 50's 60's & 70's (hey I'm a old hippy fart:-) and there is no shortage of it either. the odd news or advert but it's not annoying. Can't complain when it's free.

I use Deezer to try out new artists/albums before I buy the music :)

TuneIn for iPhone is the same kind of thing and really good :)

How do you use Tunein in the same way as Spotify

Sort of yeah.. They have radio, podcast and such. You can browse all the channels and tick them then they show in your profile so you don't have to go searching each time..

There are some really good stations on there :)

Radio 6 Music for me. I know it's not a streaming service but it plays (mostly) what I like to hear. Must say that the iPod is usually on rather than the radio and doesn't repeat itself too often - less than R1 used to for sure!!!

I've used both but just can't get my head into streaming mode

I'd rather have a device packed with songs and manage them myself

Saying that I did prefer spotify for the limited time i stuck to using it

Spotify premium for streaming from tablet to hifi as well as using on the pc. I have tried Tunein but it's nothing like Spotify as you can't select artists or albums whenever you want to hear them. The other thing with Spotify is that the likes of the Guardian links directly to it in their reviews of new music, so it just makes it so easy to listen to it.

I use Spotify Premium (for home and the wife) and Deezer (free with my phone contract). Prefer the Deezer mobile app to Spotify which I find to be a little buggy.

Agree, TuneIn is good, but its just a ton of internet radio stations. Has it's place though and is great for just picking a genre a having a listen....found lots of new bands this way

I tried Spotify but couldn't get into it
maybe i wasnt using it properly
but I just listen to albums that I've uploaded to my phone or on the stereo at home
